Sunday from Hell.
What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend ended up as a nightmare. My middle daughter called us from ER. She has not only broken her ankle in two places; it is such a horrendous break that she must go for surgery before they can even put a cast on. This will be occurring tomorrow.
She is going to be in a cast for at least eight weeks and she will need a surgical boot for a goodly time after that or her ankle will never stabilize. She is now home with us for the night before facing whatever tomorrow.
