OMG
I am editing, or should I say amputating? I seem to have been inflicted with a huge dose of comma diarhea. There are millions of pointless punctuations. Arrrragh! I am also searching for the last vestiges of any purple prose. These things shall be found and destroyed. I have spoken.

Faints. I took over a hundred commas out of the first chapter. The good news is it looks somewhat more like it should.

I am getting an overwhelming urge to bang my head on my desk each time I spot one of the culprits. That is the problem with older work; a person's errs jump out of the page and bite them on the nose, every time.
